The Tuna Levu 2019
firstly thank you for taking part in the 2019 Tuna Levu! Thankfully some Yellowfin showed up over the weekend, though numbers were down compared to the last two previous competitions. There were 34 anglers (including 2 lady anglers and 4 junior anglers) over 10 boats, with the spread being 8 big boats and 2 small. This year saw a large number of sharks taking their fair share of fish, which might explain the lower levels of tuna being landed this year!
Congratulations to all the winners for the weekend –
Biggest Yellow Fin Tuna - Ed Porter 55.7kg
Top Male Angler - Gavin Boyle 293.8 pts
Top Female Angler - Nela Purser 26 pts
Top Junior - Zen Markwell 272.2 pts
